Most
discussion will be by section, as separated and titled in the Holman Christian
Standard Bible, the translation I am currently using. If I refer to a section
or a passage and don’t specify which verses, consult your nearest HCSB
translation.
I am not
using any commentaries, nor do I intend for this to be a detailed discussion of
every single verse in the book of Acts. I’m not that smart and I am trying to
get through the entire book in a month. If you have any details or additional
references to add or contribute, I would love to hear from you.
I believe
God is going to reveal many things that I need to know and understand
and apply to my life. I also recognize that I have been challenged
greatly seeing how God has challenged others, so my prayer is that God would
use these words to grow you as well. I am not trying to impress anyone with how
well I can write or interpret scriptures, because I am inadequate on both
accounts, I’m only attempting to put into words what God is speaking to my
heart. I pray He’ll speak to you as well.
